    is there any way to only display prices for different customer types?

    i have
    retail customers
    wholesale customers,

    is there a way for the retail customers to not see a price and the wholesale customers to see the price, or maybe a catagory in the catalog only show up for wholesale customers?

    Retail customers see the retail price. Wholsale customers see the wholesale price. They only see the price for the group they are in.

    yes, i understand that part, put is there a way to not display a product for retail and only display it for wholesale?

    Switch your default group to wholesale. Then all products will be wholesale, then do not add it to the retail group.
