Default Uploading File Using Easy Populate

I am uploading a product file using Easy Populate. The description column has a lot of apostrophe's embedded within each product line item. There are no slashes next to the apostrophes. Is there a way to fix it so I can upload the file without modifying each and every product line item? Thanks in advance. Karl

You can use a formula in Microsoft Spreadsheet or Excell to change all. In Microsoft Works spreadsheet for example you would go to tools, easy calc, other, text, Replace(old text, newtext etc) click insert

Put your cursor in Old text and click on the col you want to change say A2
    Then
starting posistion is where you want to make the change or add. Ex
If I wanted to add .gif to all my stock numbers I would count the longest stock number say Q62527 which is 6 characters and put 6 in starting posistion and what this would do is put the change at the end of all my stock numbers.

Next is number of characters. Well since I am adding .gif that would be 4 characters(you have to count the dot )

Next is New text well that is simple I am adding .gif so that is what I put there. Click Next and it asks where you want result. Find a blank column and click on it. say W2 I use 2 since 1 is used for name of column

Click finish and and your changed text will be at w2. Now copy that text since it is actually a formula that you will see if you look at the address bar and paste it down the rest of the w column. this will change all the text from the column you are changing.

Finally copy your changed text col w. then right click and paste over col A (which is the column we changed in this example) IMPORTANT when you paste use paste special otherwise you are just pasting the formula and not the actual text. Now delete the stuff in Column W and your done.

This is just an example but you can set the formulas to do pretty much whatever you want.
