| ive been using oscmax for quite a long time with no issues however the only thing is that the customer search function never worked properly starting right from the first version to the latest. the only workaround i found for this problem is batch printing orders and querying the customer in the pdf file. it works. anyways, i'd love to hear any comments/solutions on this issue. |

| What specifically is not working for you? When I do a customer search from the admin panel it works fine...

| thanks for the reply michael actually i think this occurs when users enter different names for shipping/customer/billing fields. due to high level of fraud, i have the customer/billing fields disabled. only shipping location may be entered. moreover even if the customer is found, i found out that his orders do not show. again, i think this is because the script does not query shipping/customer/billing information as should, but i'm not sure. btw this is almost my only issue with oscmax. |

| The search does work properly, but it is only searching through first and last names. That is how it was coded. It is not a full customer record search, it only searches the First and Last name fields. Rather than not working, you seem to want to extend the customer search to include addresses (which would require a new query, since the addresses are not stored in the customer table). Your statement has me wondering exactly what your search is like. This is how it works: 1. From the customers page, enter a couple of letters from a customers name and hit enter. Any customer records that match will be returned in the results. 2. Highlight a customer by clicking once on that listing. 3. To see that customers orders, click on the Orders button in the right column. Works for me every time.
