Question Push to E-Bay Contribution Planned

    Hi All,

I currently getting a quote from a former E-Bay developer to develop a module for OSCMax that would push products from OSCMax to E-Bay stores and or Auctions.

    I'm envisioning the following functionality:

A separate module with all configurations exposed in a Web GUI (No hunt & pecking and cursing thru numerous php files)

All E-Bay details assigned to a profile, numerous profiles can exist and assigned on the fly...

All product attributes exposed in E-Bay auction templates, store details.

All OSCMax store policies, shipping policy's automatically inserted into the profiles.

Your product page, store templates and branding are mirrored in the E-Bay template.

Stock pushed from OSCMax is automatically reserved

Any other ideas? Does someone have this solution (If so I missed it)

The goal here is to see if I'm the only one looking for this functionality, hopefully not and if other folks would like this would they be willing to contribute in time and or funding?

    Will need help with:

    Requirements
    Testing
    User Manuals

    Please Advise...Nicholas

Nick, I'd be happy to help in any way I can, but I am tired of paying eBay WAY too much money for nothing.
Now, If I only knew what I was doing!

Thumbs up Re: Push to E-Bay Contribution Planned

    @nicholasbw

Why not also make one for ePier? I use them on a regular basis and have completely abandoned eBay, due to eBay's ridiculous fees.

ePier is an AWSOME online auction house with NO listing fees, NO insertion fees, and take a small final value fee as follows:

    • $0 - $25 --- 2.5% of the closing Value
    • $25 - $1,000 --- $.63, plus 1.5% of the balance over $25.00
    • Over $1,000 --- $15.25, plus .5% of the balance over $1,000.00.

So yeah, i'd LOVE to see a push-to-ePier contribution for osCMax!

Once the original module is coded, adding a connector for another channel such as ePier would be straight foreword. I'll look at this also...

    Hello,

Just as and FYI if you would like to save a little money you could use this for a starting point:

    osCommerce: auction LISTER 0.0.2

Then you would just need to mod to english and add new functions

OSCMAX does need this mod bad please let me know if I can help =)

    Adam,

I saw that one and there is also fl_ebay_v0.14 ...

Well the first quote came back today and it was HEFTY. Do you know any developers who would take a look at the project?

E-Bay API experience would be a big plus!

You should try Hyperactive Inc. osCommerce Modification and Hosting Specialists

How many hours did the guys you ask think it would take? And Price per Hr was like $60.00 or more?

One way is to list the project at getafreelancer.com and see what folks bid for it. I like the idea of ePier, the eBay fees are just ridiculous...

Clearly additional channels is in the works also, will start with E-Bay first. I stumbled upon Auctionblox.com and currently reviewing their functionality to write requirements for my version. I previously posted a add to getafreelancer.com and have 2 separate quotes...

OK the Push to E-Bay module developer started today!

In theory it should be no more than 30 days, the core functionality will be similar to auctionblox...

    Wish me luck...
