Okay here it goes. Algozone told me that the "bottom" infoboxes are actually hard coded into the pages. They can't be moved/removed using infobox admin. I actually purchased a template without the infoboxes on the bottom.

I did purchase the template through the osCMax store, and I'm hoping template-faq can help me with all my needs on this template, as some functionality is missing (such as special/sale pricing, and layout for the "more pictures" box).

Time for me to start learning PHP and the BTS.

Nevermind the special/sale pricing -> My special items had expired, since its February now! It took me forever to figure that out. I even tried copying all the old things back.

Dumb me.

Algozone is doing some upgrades from osCMax 2.0 RC2 to RC3 and promises to finish the upgrading by "next week". I just received an e-mail from them after asking why the osCMax templates were "temporarily" taken off their store.

Yes, they are doing an update to get everything up to RC3 standards. There were a few issues with RC2 templates causing some issues on certain installations, so they stepped up and are doing a complete update of the product line for us.

Darn, I should have waited until next week to buy the template. I just bought a template from store.template-faq today. After the installation, I found out that the infobox (a function I like about oscmax) doesn't work. The dummy database is not there - oscommerce template has it - so I can't really tell what more don't work. Another word, it doesn't look exactly like the demo.

I fired up an email to them, hopefully I have my answer soon.

Btw, nice work to osmax team.

GMCT, they should get you fixed up shortly. They have been great at updating the templates for everyone.
