Default Alternative Category Menu Mod For osCMax?

    Hi,

I was wondering if anybody could recommend a good menu mod that is compatible with OsCMax? I need one with a nice rollover effect on the category links like the Cool Menu mod that comes with osCMax.

I've tried fighting with the default DHTML menu but it's refusing to work and I've done some research on the forums and this seems like a common problem (maybe a bug?).

    Thanks

    James

All of them work. The only bug is usually 'pilot error'

If you post your specific problem instead of a general 'not working' statement, you might get some help...

    Hi,

It wasn't meant as a general not working statement. I was merely asking if anyone knew of an alternative. I posted my cache settings in my other thread about this issue which you said could be causing the problem but i hadn't received a reply so I thought i'd enquire about an alternative in the meantime.

    My cache settings are:

Use Cache is set to False

    Enable Page Cache - false
    Cache Lifetime - 5
Turn on Debug Mode? - false
    Disable URL Parameters? - false
    Delete Cache Files? - true
Config Cache Update File? - none

    Thanks

    James

That sure seems like you are suggesting that there is a bug in the menu system. I just wanted to assure you that there is no bug. But since you don't have any specifics for me to help with, not much I can do on that front. The dhtml menu can be customized as can the standard and cool menus, to have rollovers, etc. I think that there are mods already out there that do these types of things.

Next, I am not aware of any alternates to the three included in oscmax, but you can do a search here:

    Hi,

Well i would love for some help on trying to workout why the DHTML menu itsn't working but i'm not sure what specifics you require?

I've supplied my cache details as you requested and you haven't commented on them so I don't know where to go from there.

    Thanks

    James
