Shopping Cart Should Update Quantity when clicking Checkout

I would think that the javascript event handler onBlur() would work to kick off the update to the shopping cart. A lose definition of onBlur is:
"A blur event occurs when a select, text, or textarea field on a form loses focus. The onBlur event handler executes JavaScript code when a blur event occurs."

I think that covers when an item quantity is updated, then proceed to checkout or item quantity updated then click on another link, continue shopping button, etc.
