Dearest AutomotiveUK,

Your offer to convert osCommerce items to osCMax is very kind! I need to be able to offer volume discounts dependent on levels of items purchased of each item. IE: $.50/ea for 1-5, $.40/ea for 6-10 and $.30/ea for 11 or more, for example.

What are the chances you would be willing to modify Quantity Price Breaks Per Product v1.2.3 JanZ 18 Feb 2007so that I can use it with osCMax ver. 2.0.0-RC3-0-1

I was directed to the osCommerce contributions site for an answer for my problem, but I don't think I can use it without modification to osCMax.

Thanks so much,
Chris

Your possibly right in the fact you can't just add in plain OSC contributions into MAX cause MAX has already so many mods already in it.

Your links are not working - I would assume your looking at:
osCommerce: Quantity Price Breaks Per Product

but maybe this is more appropriate:
osCommerce: Quantity Price Breaks for Separate Pricing Per Customer

You may have been directed to an unmodified contrib/mod cause many time it may not be too hard to add it in using a "compare tool" then there may be a few "issues" that we can help with.

We just don't have the man power to convert every single contrib that is asked for and still support the many that are in MAX to begin with.

I am so appreciative of your help!

I installed the file and it looks good until the customer hits "Buy Now", then they get this error:

Fatal error: Class 'PriceFormatter' not found in /home/mysite/public_html/catalog/includes/classes/shopping_cart.php on line 97

I do have the PriceFormatter.php file in the folder referenced. I am clearly not a programmer, although I used to do some programming many years ago.

What might I need to do?

Thanks!
Chris

I have been studying the situation with my error [posted at the end here] and I think it is caused because I loaded my store on the root/public_html/ folder and not directly on the root directory.

I am pretty sure that I can make the changes I just need a little hint about what to do. It appears that the errors occur when a file is preceeded by DIR_WS_foldername . 'filename.xxx'

Maybe you don't want to have to answer such a newbie question, but I am hoping you will.

Thanks so much,
Chris

it takes about 5 minutes to add a lightbox to OSC instead of using the popup... and there are at least 10 real good lightbox versions available, so adding just one version isn't the best idea. For instance, there is one lightbox version that will allow you to not only show the popup image in the lightbox, but if you are using mopicks, with about 3 minutes of coding you can set it up to allow the user to rotate through all the products images using the lightbox.

Therefore I would NOT suggest hardcoding any one lightbox DHTML component to the base as it would limit the base to a single solution and that wouldn't be the best idea. Instead I would like to see a WIKI page on how to integrate any generic lightbox, and maybe a discussion thread on difference between lightboxes and the changes needed to integrate the various ones people add.

Just my $0.02

I would like to see this work in OSCMAX it would be a great additon.

It doesn't look like there is a lot of coding that would need to be done. Everything Downloads probelm is in the uploading. If someone could help that would be great.

Both (separately) are already included. This should not be hard to do - if this adds any extra function.
