Default On-Site Banners ~ Simple Code Mod Request

Hi Forum,

I am using banners for two purposes.

[1] to advertise external sites and link to them, and
[2] to draw attention to specific items inside the existing catalog

MY QUESTION: Whenever the URL includes a link to mydomain.com, I don't want the target to be a new browser window. I just want it to go to a specific product or group of products in the current window.

Does anybody know how to do this?

I'm guessing it's in the mainpage template, but it's the code that I don't know how to write. I'm using MS3.

Thanks.

Lobo

Default RE: On-Site Banners ~ Simple Code Mod Request

First of all you posted this in a OSCMAX V2 forum. OSCMAX V2 is based on MS2 code base and not MS3. Try posting in the OSCOMMECE forum here. I have not kept up with the MS3 code much.

Default My bad, I meant oscMAX V2.0 RC3

All,

Sorry, I meant to say that I'm using oscMAX V2.0 RC3 (not MS3).

In otherwords, the latest and greatest.

This seems like it would be fairly simple, I'm surprised nobody has taken an interest in showing off some code.
