Default Template Help "Shopping Cart 0 items"

I have been updating my site with a template from www.templatemonster.com and of course not a ez update to OSC Max RC3. I have managed to get this far and now need some help.

Problem 0 will not change:
"Shopping Cart 0 items"

like this page too:

Thanks,

I am not clear. Do you mean that you are adding items to the shopping cart and it is not updating the number of items held in the cart?

Default RE: Update

Is it just the count that is not working? By which I mean is there actually anything in the cart, or is the cart not updating at all. Are there items in the cart when you look?

The only thing that is not working is the counter. Yes there is stuff in the cart. Only problem is its will not change.
