How to add product text options

How can I add top and bottom text options to my products that will be filled out by the customer?

I am only just looking at OscMax to see if I am going to convert, but in OSC there are two mods, both give the same result, one has more features, but I have read it conflicts with OscMax, that is Product Attributes - Option Type Feature and is a little complex to set up with little support. The other will only give you text boxes, but it is stable I have been running that for some time with reasonable results and is about a straight forward set up, this should work with OscMax but I have not tested it. this mod is Imprint Text Options.
