Default BTS 1.5 seems like a step backward ...

I figured out how to install custom infoboxes etc.
but it seems like BTS 1.5 is a step backward. (using 1.3 plus fixes previously)
The way 1.5 is setup does not make the infobox independent of template used. Each template shares the same infoboxes so if an Infobox needs customizing for a particualr theme you would have to either share the custimization across templates or upload the "customized" version of that file when you go to change templates.

BTS 1.3 file scheme is as such
templates/
default/ default template files in case of misisng files
contents/ all tpl files
template_name/boxes
/images
/mainpage_modules (specials/featured products/new product etc)

So I am at a loss as to what makes the newer 1.5 scheme better?

read:

The changes are described by the maker of BTS and the benefits are obvious. Read through the updates on that page, and you will note that the new system is much more flexible and has a lot more features. It is also much more secure.

Ok
read through all that. See there is an add on to make boxes different between themes so I will look into that. Along with adding in "Theme Switch".
Any reason why this isnt a standard for 2?

And I actually like him in Stargate.
Was surprised.

Yeah, Col. Mitchell is a good addition to SG1...

Any reason why what isn't standard? The addons? Because the addons became available after the development feature freeze. Not adding anything new until we work out all the bugs that are already there and 2.0 Final is out.
