Product Listing MOD

Hi,

Sent hours looking for a mod/contribution to customise the product_listing page and haven't turned up a thing. Found a couple of 'Short Description" contributions which should be ok, but the rest.....

Basically needing to achieve the look and functionality in the screenshot below.

Name >> Short desc >> IMG >> Options + cost >> Add to Cart/Out of Stock

Please post reply if you can help with any aspect of this, deadlines are looming!

Change it in the admin panel.... Configuration Product Info I think... No time to confirm right now, but will be back shortly...

Hi,

You can change the layout in admin at admin >> Config >> Product Listing.

You won't get the options and descriptions or the add to cart button though.

When I change it , I get the product image, name, price , and add to cart button (actually, buy now) all by default. They buy now button will take you to the shoping cart, and if you click the continue shopping button it takes you back to the listing page. This behavior can also be changed so that it never leaves the listing page, but just adds to the cart. The setting is Configuration Display Cart After Adding Product false

The columns are all configurable as to the order of display and whether or not they get displayed. No custom programming for that. You would need custom programming to display the product options checkboxes though.
