Default RE: meta tags

You don't have to. osCMax automatically generates meta tags for you, based on the page content.

If you want to edit them and put certain keywords in, see the meta tag tutorial in the wiki guide:

Thank you very much I just viewed the source code on the home page and see that it actually does do that. Very cool....but the only thing that I don't like about it though, is that in the Title it says "osCommerce - Welcome to AABox.com's MS2-MAX". How do I get rid of that and put my own title in?

That is also documented in the wiki. I suggest you read a little before starting your mods. If your title bar says 'Welcome to MS2-MAX you are not using osCMax 2.0 but an older version.

Note that the title bar in oscmax reads differently and also tells you where to change it. The full text of the title bar is:

Quote:
osCMax v2.0 : Welcome to AABox.com's osCMax v2.0 - change this in /english/index.php
Which also answers your question.

Default Re: meta tags

I have edited english/index.php but now I have:
My name: Welcome to AABox.com's osCMax v2.0 - change this in /english/index.php

I want to have my name, but not "Welcome to AABox.com's ......"

How can I delete "Welcome to AABox.Com's ....." ?

Default Re: meta tags

search is your friend...but it is already answered in this thread. Edit the darned english.php file and change the text that says "Welcome to AABox.com's..."

osCMax v2.0 in title bar is not changing.
Getting Rid of Welcome to AABox.com's MS2-MAX in title

I searched on the obvious terms "title bar" since that is what you want to change... the browser title bar.
