Suggestion for a contrib for rush orders?

here's the scenario:
a customer would like to put a rush on their order, which would result in an increase in price total. Most customers would not need this, but for those who do, we would like to charge a fee for filling their order before others. Does anyone know of a contrib that will help with that?

I havent seen a contrib like that but I can make a one.
But if ever I will make one, the idea is I will charge the customer for an
extra fee for the rush order, basically a "service fee". I hope you like my
idea.

An easy way to do this is just create a product attribute for turnaround time. Make 2 options or more:

Normal Turnaround
Rush Turnaround
Super Rush!

Etc. No custom code needed and you could apply the attribute to any products, create a different rush fee for different products, etc. Super easy!

She wants to charge an overall amt for the entire order, not per product. I have what someone had started working on but they werent able to complete the project so it isnt entirely working. Thanks for the suggestion though, I will mention it to her but I dont think thats what she wants.

Yes, but if you need the feature now, my way works without any custom code. You can get your rush fees to help pay for that custom mod you want
