    Default Sage Line 50

    Hi all.

I have a client that wants to integrate his OSCMAX store with Sage line 50. I have not been able to find any contribution that offers this, and the only thing that I could find is at www.holbi.co.uk and is quite expensive, and uses an osc version called Trueloaded.

Can anyone offer any assistance on this.

What they need is the following

Download stock, products customers and orders and integrate them into sage.

Holbi seemt o have a package that does this, and seems to do it very very well, however it looks like, if their standard shop does not ahve a specific module installed that is needed they charge a hefty price for that particular module (300) so I am looking to find out 2 things

    1. Is there an alternative but good way of achieving this
    2. Does the holbi system work with OSCMAX

This has been done for other accounting software. Here is some contribs that you can use for a template....OR maybe change to use differnt s/w....

TurboCash OSC link (open source accounting S/W)
    http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2457

Peachtree Export CSV export for Peachtree Accounting
    http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2928

    osCommerce Downloader for Order Integrator

This plugin can download orders from your osCommerce database into
    Order Integrator.

Order Integrator is an order management program that allows you to import sales from osCommerce, Amazon.com, Channel Advisor, eBay Blackthorne, eBay SA Pro so you can ship them with Endicia Internet Postage and export them to QuickBooks.

    Peachtree Export CSV
    export for Peachtree Accounting
    http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2928

    Quickbooks Customer Import
    http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2191
    http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2190

    QuickbooksPro 2003 w/FedEx Ship Manager
    http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1767

Cause OSCMAX is based on an SQL database - using OBDC any ANY OBDC language or tools you can export and import nearlly anything into OSCMAX

BUT for 600 USD is not that bad of a deal considering the bigger picture of buying SAGE 50 Starting at about 1000 USD to well over 2500 USD and way more.... If a business is buying S/W at that level then an addional $600 is not a big stretch. Think about this - Sub-contract a Programmer who changes MIN of $50/hour - spend 2 days (16 hours X $50= $800) to make a custom interface....... more than what they offer.

However if you can use one of the above contribs and create your own interface for Sage----then you might be ahead of the game.

    Actually just found this post.

    To answer your questions:

We offer a plenty of osCommerce modules on www.holbi.co.uk, but you do not have to have our TrueLoaded version in order to have them.

And yes, our Web DataLink for Sage Line 50 is compatible with any osCommerce-based shopping cart solution, especially with osCMax and similar. You do not have to have anything else but osCMax and Sage Line 50 to use our solution and we do not charge anything extra but its price.
