Default Coppermine Gallery into OSCMAX

Hi again all.

In my old OSC shop I had the coppermine integrated gallery into the shop, this worked a treat, however I have now moved over to OSCMAX and after a succesful move of the database to the OSCMAX one, the shop is now live again, and working a treat.....so far anyway.

I want to integrate the coppermine gallery back into the new store.

Now I have simply copied over the old files, but of course I need to make it work with the BTS system and this is where I am a little stuck.

I managed it with the guestbook, but only had to make a few modifications to the BTS script which was suited to OSC, the gallery is significantly more complicated.

So far, I can get the gallery to show with the left and right sides in tact but no header because to get the page to display at all I had to remove the include header and footer line from the gallery.php file.

Does anyone know what I need to add and remove to a standard OSC file to turn it into a BTS compatible file.

Thanks in advance.

For the record. Taking an OSC db and making it work in an OSCMAX db is a piece of cake so long as the osc db is not hugely modified.

This is what I suggest - search the forum or look in the Wiki - http://oscdox.com/index.php?op=modlo...sDocumentation

Hi,

Thanks for the info, that made perfect sense, sadly however made the situations worse, lol.

With the default files in place, no template file created, I can get the gallery but no header or footer (removed code) if I leave the code I get page errors.

For anyone that thinks they can get this working, here is the OSC coppermine module. It would be great if someone could turn this into a compatible module because its been removed from the OSC modules page for download so now the gallery options available are not anywhere near as good as this one.

Okay looks like the just "recreated" the pages using parts of OSC but is not even properly intergated into OSC. It is not impossable but it would take time to properly intergate it. As the orginal contributior said - He is "not a programmer or very familiar with php, so use it at your own risk." hence your problems. This is one very basic hack that barely works.
