Default Authorize.net setup

A couple questions....

1. Is the Authorize.net mod using SIM or AIM?
2. I setup Authorize.net and configured all the fields in the admin. When I test a checkout, I am getting this error message at the top of the checkout_payment.php page:

Quote:
The server cannot connect to Authorize.net. Please check your cURL and server settings.
Any ideas on where I need to fix? I've got cURL setup and the path entered inthe admin. If it's on the Authorize.net side, please let me know if it's SIM or AIM settings...

Thx,
C
