I am looking for a contribution or seperate php prog, that will do cash sales and customer sales from either oscommerce based program or another preferably free source php based prog, but I want it to use the customer base from osmax and update quanities and such off of the oscmax database. anyone else doing this and if so, what is the best way to attack this?

I have a small retail store, so after a lot of researching, I settled on Retail Edge. It is cheap as far as POS systems go, but its far from free. As far as integration, I am working on a VB.NET program to integrate the two together. When it's finished I'll share my work.

They did, but they are lacking in some of the more powerful POS features as far as free programs go. I still like Retail Edge 8.0. It's a fantastic program. It includes an ODBC driver so you can access its database. I'm writing a .NET application to sync the online inventory with the store inventory right now.
