Hi...

Im fixing a shop where they sell clothes.

Now to the problem....

Allot of the clotes have several sizes and several colors...

ex.
color: red
sizes: small, medium, large

color: white
sizes: small, medium, large

if one size lets say red large goes out of stock.. it will still be available in dropdown.

is there a way to sort of link the attributes...

If u choose color first... the size droppdown is just showing the sizes available for that color...

Anybody understand the problem?

i have search forums like an idiot... but i cant find anybody with a solution... just people with same problem....

Default RE: Linked attributes

Stock for attributes is pretty simple. Be sure you have the global check stock option set as true. Also be sure that your attribute is also set to check stock. Form there, under categories/products, you can set stock for each attribute.

It sounds like what you are wanting to do though would require some sort of Javascript. When someone chooses "red", the size options appear, correct? If they choose white, the in-stock options appear there as well? I know Master Products will do something similar. Essentially red & white are slave products to shirt, and they each have their own attributes. Not sure how compatible this is with osCMax though.
