Default List of features added to OSCommerce

1.) Anyone know where I can see a clean simple list and descriptions of all of the features / mods that OSCMax has over and beyond a basic OSCommerce installation?

2.) Does this include an order status feature where end users can see the progress of their order status / fullfillment? If not, does anyone recommend a good one?

    Thanks a bunch!

    Hey Michael,

1.) Thanks for the link. Does OSCMax include an order status / fullfillment module which allows end users to track the order fullfillment process and see the status of their order? If not, what module do you recommend for this?

2.) If I already have OSCommerce installed, do you have an upgrade which will upgrade the basic OSCommerce installation to the latest OSCMax? If so, could you direct me to the exact location of this upgrade file?

    Thanks,

    -David

    1. A customer can login to their account and see what the order status is.

    2. No, there is not an upgrade. You will have to do a new install of oscmax and move your data to the new database and manually incorporate your design.

    Hey Michael,

Is that a standard feature of OSCommerce when a customer logs into their account to see their order status or is that a specific module which OSCMax has installed? If so, what is the name of that module?

    Thanks,

    -David

    Hey Michael,

I realize that there is a way to manually set status on an order in osC from Pending to Processing to Delivered. I was looking for a way to better automate this. Maybe some way where each step could be better automated. For example, where status would change to "delivered" once a USPS tracking number confirms delivery or something. Is there anything to better automate this order status area that you know of?

The only one I found was at:
    http://www.oscommerce.com/community/...h,add+customer

Do you think there is a module which can automate order status better as this one doesn't really do that. Do you think this one is good though?

    Thanks,

    -David
