Is it possible to add oscommerce contributions to oscmax?

Of course it is. The instructions with the modules are based on OSCommerce though, and since many directories and file locations have been changed, you will need, in some cases to do some searching for the snippet the instructions say to modify.

For example:

checkout_payment.php in vanilla osc contains all code for this page.

However in oscmax it works as follows.

language file /includes/languages/enlgish/checkout_payment.php
javascript functions /includes/javascript/checkout_payment.js.php

and so on.

First of all

WELCOME to osCMax!

Just a addon NOTE: MUCH of the code in osCMax has been changed with SO many added MODS/Contributes already (like BTS moves alot of the HTML content to .tpl.php file)---SOME times the code you want to change - HAS AREADY BEEN CHANGED/REMOVED/MODIFIED and MAY conflict with something ALREADY installed.

CHECK the CODE carfully - using a compare utility helps ALOT (like WinMerge or Beyond Compare) as they will show WHICH files are change and WHERE....Mind you as Mr Murphy said due to BTS some files are split up so check the main file with each of the file (if more than one exists - other than the LANGUAGE files) in MAX.

People here are helpful - if you can't find it or have some problems - feal free to ask.
