Nubie User here
Am setting up a site with OsCMax and have a problem
I arrive at a sucessful install, no problem
Change template in Admin/config/mystore/default_template
and page layout changes but no backgrounds or colors
White page with text

Searching the forums comes up with this snippet....

Select the template you want to use or to start with - remove all other ones if you want (thus it will default to the one and only template - less confusion).
Good, yes when I got it working I'll do that
Also in ADMIN set
Admin> Configuration > MyStore > Default Template Directory >
Dunnit
Is that all?
