Checkout button in cart and removing new products...?

Anyone know how to add the checkout button in cart mod for v2?
ASlo how to remove the new products for monthe off main page?

1- Which mod? if it is 1454 then sure - just remeber that the BTS mived code to the template files (*.tpl.php)

2 -Admin > Infobox Admin > Infobox Admin > what's new

Activate this box? Change to "no"

I have the option changed to no for whats new , but the new items are still showing in the center of the page. Is there somewhere else that this needs to be changed? I am using aabox template.
