Scrambled or modify order number

Has anyone had any success with oscmax and either the scrambled order number? It seems that any competitor can chekcout with an order (check or money order option) at any given time and see the "order number" and sales volume as well as a customer notice of low numbers.

Is there way to change this that does not change core osc?

Just change the starting point in your orders table to whatever number you want... I have not tried it, but it should work. Set the auto increment to 115223 or something....
