[osCmax V2.0.25] Featured Products not shown in Admin

Hi, I installed Featured Products 1.6.5 on Oscmax 2.0.25, followed step by step but when logging into Admin, only the Administrator and Catalog menus are displayed but I can´t do anything with submenus. Am I missing something? thanks

Some while back I ported Wolfen Feature Sets, which has now morphed into Open Feature Sets and included in 'Max 2.5. This is likely a more appropriate path to go down.

Thanks ridexxbuilder, I also tried Wolfen Featured Sets v1.05 with no positive results. Do you recommend me to update to Max 2.5 ? Do I need different requirements than v2.0.5?

Whether you want to start a site with Beta software is entirely your own decision.
Wolfen Feature Sets v1.05 for osCMax v2.1x - full package
Ported to 2.0.15 but should work on 2.0.25 - Just start from a point without your previous attempts at Featured Products.

For my 2ps worth - I think v2.5 is worth the leap of faith! You will find a host of new features that should be useful (including feature sets).

But like Ridex said - it is up to you ...

I have removed featured Products New files and script on modified files, reinstall a clean database backup copy. Followed the instructions for Wolfen featured Sets v 1.05R and in Admin the catalog menu is not displaying, the others menu are working perfect and in Configuration menu I see Featured sets enabled. The language used in admin is Spanish, in Wolfen Featured Sets v1.05R is not considered Spanish so I copied the files regarding to english in english and spanish folders of my site. What else can I do?

This is very like your opening post and sounds like you are doing something wrong in one the the admin files - categories.php being a distinct possibility, as it's the easiest to mess up. Without someone else taking/having the time to run through the same process it is difficult to know.
If it's a must have, then it looks as though 'Max 2.5 is shouting at you!

Hello, problem solved. I removed the following 2 lines from Wolfen_Feature_Sets_osCMax_v1.05R/catalog/admin/categories.php

// LINE ADDED: FCKEditor
require(DIR_FCKEDITOR . 'fckeditor.php');

and now I can see the Catalog menu in Admin and seems to be Ok
