wholesale minimum qty purchase requirement?

I'm trying to see if anyone can brainstorm with me and see if you guys can help me on this. I want to offer wholesale on my items, however, I want it to require that they will need to order a minimum qty requirement when they are logged in as wholesale customers.

I.E. - retail store front will have an item for $2.00. no minimum qty required. When logged in as wholesale customer, $2.00 item will become $.50 but will need to purchase say around 12 minimum.

Is there some type of mod/feature on this?

in osCmax 2.5 you can enter Quantity Blocks and Minimum Order Quantity when you edit a product. This allow you to see in set (ie: 4 tires at a time) or set it so that it must be a minimum quantity (as you indicated above).

v2.5 will also allow you to tier the pricing as well.

So as Met00 says - Minimum order of 4: In blocks of 4: With "Quantity Price Breaks" @ 12, 24, 36 units all by Customer Group ...

hm looks like I will need to run some tests, because I run a oscmax template and I'm not sure how I'd be able to upgrade to 2.5 without any complications

just in case for members who are using the older version of oscmax (2..0.25) I managed to install the mod without any problems and pretty straight forward on install: osCommerce Community Add-Ons download this version: SPPC V4.16 w/minimum purchase for wholesale customers and in the folder there is a folder called "wholesale minimum purchase"

just wanted to give heads up that I was able to get this working and to anyone else who might be interested in wanting to have this same feature.
