Hide categories from groups oscmax 2.5 beta 2

when i add categories and go to Hide categories from groups: there is not a choice to hide it from groups there is nothing there but this (Hide categories from groups

does not have any groups to choose from,

Category suppression has been removed as it is incompatible with other parts of osCmax. Suppression can be done at a product level which ensures that search, new products, also_purchased, cross sell, specials, featured products do not contain products within the wrong sections.

If you download the latest SVN version you will see that there is no option to suppress categories.

Not sure what you mean By SVN i have oscmax 2.5 beta 3.

Beta 3 is the latest package, but SVN (short for subversion) is the active development code repository. It has all the latest bugfixes and code changes since beta3 was released (there are a lot of fixes and changes since beta3). You can see the changes here:

If you have a subversion client, you can export the latest source code right to your computer (google tortoisesvn if you use a windows based computer).
