feature request

I really like the feature products and feel its revolutionary (in opinion) over new products, because you can actually select which products to feature on your home page. But if I land on a detailed product page, the feature products at the bottom may not relate to the main product on that page. In that case I always use cross selling products to match the product on that page. So with that regard, would be it be possible to make an oscmax feature to enable or disable product features on the product info page?
This may be good for many users.

Should be easy enough to remark out/remove the relevant lines in product_info.tpl, so why the need to clutter up Admin.?

Development happens fast, even some on the team are not aware of all the great features in osCmax. In case anyone missed it, it is a simple click to turn off featured products.

Admin >> Configuration >> Templates >> Page Modules >> Open Feature Sets for the product_info page >> Off

With everything that has gone into this project Michael, with over 55 development waves and in some cases over 200 individual messages in a wave, is it any surprise that even the developers don't know everything that has been put into this by everyone?

Just so everyone knows, the first google wave on development of 2.5 (back then called 2.1) was started on 12/7/2009.

The "Page Modules Display, Update and Create" has to be one of the best features in oscmax beta2! Especially with inserting and sorting your module displays. Thats hot!

There are so many new gems like this in v2.5, but I agree, it is a very user-friendly, powerful feature and one of the best new features in osCmax. We have all been working very hard at removing the need to hack html or code if you don't want to, especially for basic on-off-sort issues. Usability has been our mantra.

We have come a long way, but there is still much to be done!
