Adding Text Imprint to osCmax 2.5

This is a discussion on Adding Text Imprint to osCmax 2.5 within the osCmax v2 Customization/Mods forums, part of the osCmax v2.0 Forums category; I don't suppose that there is a snowball's chance that this new version has the Options Type Feature is there? ...

It does, minus the textual input.

BOOOO!! I have been waiting for this release expecting to have text input. Its such a pain in the ass to attach so many options to products, it takes so long and creates a huge list I have go through.
    I am hugely dissapointed.

Lightbulb Adding Text Imprint to osCmax 2.5

Nothing to stop you trying this out and reporting back:
    Text Imprint
[Note: I've been given little/zero incentive to push this harder m'self. There was a flurry of activity by the Dev. Team some months back but it got overshadowed by the extensive changes in 2.5]

I downloaded both the Beta 2 and the Text Imprint (ZIP file from oscommerce site) and looked at the installManual.txt file. Nothing seems to match between the two.

Did I say to use the osCommerce version? Try the link that I gave you.
This topic should really be split away from this thread (IMO).

My bad. Just trying to be lazy and not have to learn how to "tar" but I got it done your way. Thanks.

Now my question is: Is thaere a way to change the size of that text box? And is it actually a text input box? All I see is a single space drop down box.

    Thanks again

    For the time being, see:
    osCMax 2.0.25 - Imprint : test product [test-1] - $10.00
    It's a text box.
    Code:
    <input type="text" name="products_text_attributes_1">
size can be added to the above line.

OK! I am really excited seeing your test page!!! Looks like it is exactly what I have been asking for for the last two plus years.

Question 1: What file is that in? I have searched each file in both the Beta 2 and the Text Imprint packages and can not find that line of code.

Question 2: Beer button location still at ejsolutions?

    Thanks,

    Norman
