[osCmax v2.5x] Quantum Gateway

Quantum Gateway will not work with oscmax 2.5 beta 2 when ever i go thru check out get meesge saying there was a error setting payment so how do i get this fixed so it will work wiht 2.5 beta 2 can try it yourself at unlimtedsports.com

well i installed like it said to copy all files to there dirs got the module from Quantum Gateway also tried the one that was listed here on this site same thing on both of them.

Still Waiting on getting this to work wih new version of oscmax 2.5 beta 2 seems it should work since OSCmax Teamed up with CDGCommerce i changed to CDGCommerce Beliving it would work with the new version of OSCMAX So any Help getting this to work would be Great Thank you in advance.

3/8/2009: osCMax 2.0 RC4 Released is the only reference I see to CDGCommerce, and it's just the image file. I don't see that Quantum gateway in the mix of payment modules.

I know that I will be releasing a mod for USAePay (used by payrover) that will work on 2.5 since I have clients using the gateway and will be integrating it.

Note: Any version of RC is not the same as 2.0.25, just as 2.5 can't really be compared to it.

Quantum Gateway module is not included by default in osCmax. You have to install the module yourself but it is a simple drop-in and configure module. You can get it here:
osCommerce Community Add-Ons

Just use the most recent version.

I just did a test installation on v2.5 and it works fine. With v2.5, you have to manually upload the language file to the /languages/english directory , NOT the languages/english/modules/payment directory! - v2.5 doesn't use subdirectories anymore. Everything goes in the main language dir.

That will fix your undefined constants (the all caps MODULE_PAYMENT_QUANTUMQGWDBE_TEXT_TITLE)


Next, you cannot use one page checkout with payment or shipping modules that are not core osCmax. To get them to work you will need to modify OPC to accept the module or switch to the standard checkout. When we include the module standard in the stable release, it will be integrated into the one page checkout properly.

Try the attached Quantum gateway mod if you want to use One Page Checkout in osCmax v2.5. I modified it to work with One Page Checkout, but it will probably NOT work with the standard checkout. I would have to add some checking to see what version of the checkout is being used for it to work on both.

I changed the language file structure to match osCmax's format so it is again a drop-in and enable mod.

Note that you have to set the Enable QuantumGateway To Collect CC# setting in the module configuration to False otherwise it will still generate the loading error you were getting before.

I tested it as far as I could, but I do not have a merchant account, so I could not complete a transaction. Let me know if it works for you
