Default questions about admin panel for oscmax 2.5

I noticed that admin/includes/menu.php controls the dropdown menu in the admin. can we customize the code to our likings (i.e put in a jquery or custom suckerfish menu) in place of the code that is there?

I ask this question out of creativity, but don't want my dreaming to be a bug build up for the admin menu, thats all!
