    Default Admin Notes

    Next version would be nice if there was a section in the ACP that allowed for admin notes. Maybe make it based off of member groups so you can make them viewable to certain IDs.

    Clarify please. We already have admin notes for customers and orders in v2.5.

    I was thinking mroe along the lines of general admin notes not specific to the general customer.

    For example:

    Admin Notes
    11.10.10 - Installed OSCMax
    11.16.10 - Modified stylesheet.css background setting from #ffffff to #ccc99
    11.16.10 - problem with XXX and left post on forums for support

    This is helpful when running multiple stores and you make notes on configuration changes, modify a file/installing a contribution, problems/issues, etc.

    Thanks for that clarification. They could be used for just about anything and would be very useful I am sure. We will add it to the planned feature list after 2.5 is released.

    admin notes is available as a osc addon. It uses it's own table so it can be added to oscMax with no real issues (I have done it before and will do it again on the latest version when it's stable).

    I think OSCMax has grown to a point where there needs to be its own contribution section. Between the file changes (large amount of pre-installed contributions) that it takes alot of muddeling to to get an OSC contribution installed and or working properly sometimes.

    depends on if it deals with one ui or two ui's. also if it has it's own table or changes any of the tables that oscMax uses. In the case of admin notes it only affect one ui and has it's own table. Thus a low impact addon.

    @Met00:
    Now stop postulating and get the thing written as a Project, until integrated. Easy for a wizard of your calibre! 'Bout time you got back to doing some proper work.

    Ah,yes I have been a tad "slow" in code (pay comes before open source), but just this week I learned how to integrate google charts into jquery...
