Site Monitor - Access Denied

I installed site monitor but I'm getting this message when I go to site monitor in admin:

Access Denied. No right permission access. Please contact your web administrator to request more access or if you found any problem

I assume it's permissions settings on a file. What files do I need to change and to what permissions? Thanks.
