Question Only one product is stored in orders_products

for some reasons, only one product is saved in the orders_products table even though more than one was ordered by a user. For instance, if a user adds say 3 products to a cart, only one is stored in the orders_products table. It seems that only the first product is copied. The order totals, though are for the 3 items. Can anyone help?

Are they pressing the "Update Cart"? I almost routinely (when I remember) add an additional line at the top of the cart table to make this clearer to the customer.
The order totals, though are for the 3 items
Though it does sound as though they are.

P.S. It's a good idea to mention the precise version of 'Max that you are using.

it's osCMax v2.0. It's not about the quantities of products, it's about not all products are saved in the orders_products. As a result, a customer receives an email with only one product (despite of ordering more than one), and order history shows only one product.

I tried to trace the source code to fine a place where a new order is created and order products are copied from customers_basket. Any help is appreciated.

    precise version - 2.0.xx
Also, PHP & mySQL versions can be useful, though I think someone else will need to assist you with this one.

i must add that everything was fine. I did some modification like added CanadaPost shipping mode, made Shopping Cart infobox header hyperlink and some other minor ones. And all of a sudden this started. I might just go back to the original version and do regression tests after each modification. However, if anyone might know what went wrong, please let me know.

just installed a fresh copy of osCMax and still having the same issue. I added to the shopping cart 2 items, when through ordering process (shipping, payment, order confirmation) and only one of those items was included in the email confirmation and viewed in the Account History. The order subtotal though is for 2 items. What's up with that? Any comments, suggestions? Thank you.

Which Shipping Mod are you using?

Which Payment module are you using?

Have you made any other changes to the basic install? Templates? Other code changes?

I can not replicate this on a clean install.

i use flat shipping rate and cc payment. I just configured My Store values, Taxes and added products. Everything was done via Admin interface. This is weird... No matter how many products are being checked out, only one appears in the email and order history. Any thoughts for troubleshooting?

I will test again later today when I have access to my test setup.

Do you have an URL so I can try on your setup now?
