is oscmax compatible with oscommerce modules and templates? to what extent? sorry for brief message, must give a client a quote on an ecommerce site today and need some more info, thanks!

How long is a piece of string?

At least 90% of contributions/templates are compatible. There will be conflicts with some, as there are in osCommerce.
osCMax has a stack of pre-installed contributions, so much of the work has been done for the typical website builder.
Templates are often written poorly and should be considered a starting point for an end result, needing conversion to BTS, to get the best out of them (not trivial, though generally not difficult, IMO).
