Admin Session Timeout when order > 9 items.

Strangest bug reported by an admin... When signed is as an admin using the Edit Order screen I get kicked out after adding more then 9 items to the order. I've tried everything but I can quite figure it out. I think I have it down to the following clue..

admin/Edit_Orders.php includes admin/includes/appliction_top.php and when I put debugging code around tep_session_start(); it appears to call it twice in a row, the first time it failes to create a session and the second time it is sucessful but after that it kicks me out, perhaps because it resets my session and I need to log in again?

This only happens when I click Update Order on the Edit Order Screen and when I have more than 9 items in my order.

// lets start our session
tep_session_start();

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PHP 5.2.0
Apache2
MySQL: 5.0
