Music player in recent oscmax

Hi,

I have a latest 2.03 oscmax as a download music site and wish to install a music player that will allow visitors to play some of the songs that are on sale.

Any suggestion of what to use?

Hi,

I have MAX 2.03 and am installing the osplayer V2.1 which I had installed in a past oscommerce but now for some reason the MP3 Manager button and consequently the link, is showing up in the wrong page.

It is in the Admin/Catalog Products folder list page instead of the Products List. (1 step down)

Because of this it cannot install the folders in the data/mp3 folder as it should.

Any ideas how I can correct this please?

The attached images show where the MP3 button is and where it should be.

What php file feeds to these pages as obviously the code is in the wrong file or pointing to the wrong place.

It seems like the change needs to be made in one of these pages however I am not up to php enough to determine which one..

Got it working, but now would like to be able to limit the amount of song to be heard. say, 30 secs.

Would this be done with some added code to this javascript or would it be in the FLA?

Okay, have just been told elsewhere that the full song is loaded into the browser cache even though the player is told to only play a part of it, so anyone who knows a little can get the whole.

This then come to this...

If I load a sample sized song up to use as the preview, can the download still be the full sized file? I am under the impression the player plays the file that is downloaded, but could be wrong.

I have another question about the download facility is osc but as it is about downloads not the player, I will post it elsewhere in case I the readers here are based on the player question only.

basically the files that preview and the files that download are not necessarily the same files.
So you can upload your preview snippets into osplayer...

I am having problems installing osplayer myself...
On the page (in mp3 manager) where you are supposed to hit the "create" button I am missing the create button (and I notice that where it should say return to categories it says it in french...) any ideas?
