i have a website that is a wholesale website, and have added the login to see prices MOD
but peoplw can still register and then login and see pricing.
i have an idea to get arround this that i think should be simple to apply but i cant seem to work it out
My idea
1. create a customer group called 'NO PRICE'
2. when a person registers they are assigned to the 'NO PRICE' group
3. all products that are added are automatically given a value of $0.00 for the 'NO PRICE' group
4. the administrator themn needs to authorise them - to do this they then chane the client to the retail group so they can then see the prices
my question
1. how would change the default group - i cant seem to find where is is set.
i have tried several things biut cant seem to get it to work.
can anyone tell me what the 2 below field are used for
customers_group_name - this is the group name
customers_group_id - this appears to be the group id but when the group is changed in the admin area it doeant change this but only changed the customers_group_name
any help would be appreciated
