Yep - I had to fiddle the layout a bit to make it look neater ...

Oops - forgot to mention the header column! Also, I am always a bit lazy about the langauage files on the admin side! Doesn't seem any point for me ... I just hard code the changes ...

I tried this on my older RC3 and it works except I am missing something. The module on the front page(not the info box in the columns) That says new products for December is empty but when you click on it and it goes to the products_new.php page the ones I ticked to show are there. What easy am I missing for it not to show on the main page.

Never mind I found it was a change I made to stop it from repeating products the following year. It works fine

Actually Ver 2.0 RC3 works great.. I thought I had upgraded to 4 but I just had a rough patch of not having time in 2009 to put all my mods on the latest version. It is heavily modified. I have been going thru the latest on the svn looking for bugs I am thinking that will be the one I will jump on. Not looking forward to all the contributions and mods I will have to do....Im gettin too old for this stuff

I was wondering if someone can do a "report" contribution for the featured products, I just thought it'd be nice to see a list of all the products are currently featured so you can turn it off without going thru all the categories just to find out which one are featured.

Is there a way to have the new products info box keep full of the last added products, even if it was over a month ago? As it is now, the box is empty if no products have been added. It seems like the old version of OSComm would keep the products there each month.

Do love your modification though of being able to select which products to show and
may try that when I have time. Just am hoping for something more simple & quickfix for now.

Yep!

This has been posted a few times but ...

There are two queries at the top of catalog/includes/modules/new_products.php on line 26 and 29

Find these and remove

and month(p.products_date_added) = month(now())

From both of them - job done.

There is a more complete post on this forum if you have a bit of a dig around. For the record this has been removed in v2.1.

We are trying to set this up on our cart. However we are running version 2.0.25 is there something different we have to setup?
