Custom Product Builder

Does this OSCommerce contribution work under oscMAX 2.0 RC3 using stock template feature php 5.25 and mysql 5.0. ? I Could not get the builder box to show up in either the store front or the admin section and it was enabled in info box admin. The code mod for /product_info.php causes duplicate items to be added to the shopping cart.

- Which mod? Give link.
- What you did to install it. What tools or methods.
- Describe what you did and exactly the error or problem

Sorry I never replied back. I have just been real busy .Hopefully everyone else has been as well. I think I just need to take the time to make this contribution BTS compliant. But for now I just un-installed my changes.

Which method did you use?

I would try isolation ALL changed/moded code (compare to a plain MS2 version - and comment all changes).
Then find the apportionment code in osCMax and modify it the same way. List any code conflict here.

Hi JPF,
Yes that is the one Custom Product Builder . The method used was a bad one I just tried to ramrod it (copy and paste). Like I said earlier I should of taken more time; read, analyze,compare then implement. That being said I will try it later when I have the time. Thank you for dedication.

Due to SO many mods in osCMax. You can't do a blind copy paste.

Get WinMerge or Beyond Compare to SEE what changed.
View the contrib against a clean MS2 version. Note ALL changes. (comment out original lines helps...)

Now do the same with the contrib against a clean copy of osCMax. If the "original" code matches in MAX - copy it over (one click does it - no cut and paste errors)
If code changed - then view what is changed from the original to osCMax and duplicate that change in the NEW contrib code.

If you have code conflict then post here. (SQL statements can be tricky.)
