I think I found my answer in the images sections.. but another question comes up. Do I need to install lightbox before doing the mod for OScmax? Or is the mod all inclusive?

I added the lightbox, but not from an osc contribution, just straight dhtml. It's a simple addition to the product_info page in the templates directory.

If you want to use it will all pictures that show up for the products_info page (ie: more than just you primary image) consider making it a included procedure (put it in the /includes/modules) and then call it passing over the image. Then you can easily modify the additional pics contribution to make the same call reducing code complexity.

First of all osCMax is not a mod - it is a complete out-of-the-box ready-to-run system. Just that it already has installed a TON of mods....

Secondly, it should not be too much to install - just DON'T blindly overwrite any file in OSCMAX. Find out the changed in the new file (compare it to the SAME file in oscommerce) - find the same code in oscmax and manually add in the change code. ....COMMENT ARE YOUR BEST FRIEND!!!....

Third, with BTS that osCMax has, all you have to do to change the look of the popups is to edit the HTML template file.
