I have installed the points and rewards module ( the updated one ) and when I get to the checkout confim page, it doesn't deduct the total dollar amount with the corrusponding point redemption. Can anyone help me with this issue?

I have installed the points and rewards module ( the updated one ) and when I get to the checkout confim page, it doesn't deduct the total dollar amount with the corrusponding point redemption. Can anyone help me with this issue?
