Heres one for ya to solve!! Order confirmation emails not working

Ok, the admin doesnt recieve an email when an order has been made.

Yes sending emails and newsletters works.

No, i have not made any mods apart from adding payment modules.

Now the thing is, I just added 3 different email addresses to the extra emails box and now the customer is getting 4 order emails.

If I put just 2 extra emails in, the customer gets 2 emails and the admin still 0

I've read post after post of people having this issue yet not found any posts solving it.

Please help me before I go insane.

The problem is that you have formatted the email address improperly for the extra order emails. It must be in this format:

Persons Name <email@addy.com>

If that still does not work, you need to check the mail server logs to see what is happening.

Check the mail headers of the email you are receiving. If you are using the same mail client to check both the customer account and admin account, that is why you are getting 2 or 3 emails. One is to the customer, the other two are to the admin addresses. The messages are going to be identical.

Its working now.

That format doesnt work for the emails.

name<email>

It will only work if I put in a straight email address.

123@123.com

I had all 3 extra emails going to different addresses so I could tell what was going where.
