i am tired of looking ,for oscmax v2 or v1.7 seo url pack ,all of the contribution are for oscommerce ,any body can help me plz,to seo my urls?

osCMax already has SEO urls installed, you just have to turn them on in the admin panel, and the included .htaccess file.

i totally done it.
but it just work with "cname mode" ,and when i change it to "rewrite mode" ,my products page encounter to "NOT Found 404" error

what should i do ? plz help me i have done it after approximately 1 month working on it,and this is the last step : ) !!

In order to use the rewrite mode, your webserver must be apache with mod_rewrite enabled.

If your webserver meets that requirement, you have to also edit the .htaccess file that comes with osCMax. Look in /public_html/catalog for a file named .htaccess. You need to edit it, and un-comment the SEO rewrite rules that apply to your installation. There is a note in the .htaccess file on what to do.

i have urls on my website ,witch accessible with two kind of url

first:

http://www.example.com/p-9.html?osCs...39vvf09j5jrq34

second:

http://www.example.com/p-9.html

i should reset ,the seo catch every time to fix the problem ,how i can fix it automatically?

or

how i can make a 301 permanent redirect from first kind to the second?

Do not worry about the first URL, the osCsid will eventually go away. Some first time visitors will see it on the links the first time they visit your store, those that do not have cookies enabled might always see it, but you should not worry about it.

You should probably have enough with the Ultimate SEO URL version that comes by default with OSCMAX. I remember updating my version so I would also have SEO names on my articles, and I have later added a couple of mods so I can change by hand the SEOed URL of any produc/category, and also so I have SEO URLs for my news items (I use NewsDesk).

Ultimate SEO URL that comes with OSCMAX 2 should be more than enough for most stores.

tanx,but my website's url ,indexed in google by first type.and i need to change them to the second type.

how i can show my url ,to google bot ,the second type ?or how i can forward the first type to second type ,by 301 permenent redirect in .htaccess?

i found out ,when i reset the seo url cache ,the urls limit to .html and the extension disappear, i mean this part :

"?osCsid=li49doc6dducp1orc6uqn6omc2"

so ,i can solve the problem if i write an script witch reset seo catch automaticaly

am i right?

You only need to reset the SEO cache when you make changes on your SEO configuration on the admin section. Once you have it configured right and working, you probably will not need to reset the SEO cache ever again.

So do not worry about scripts...
