Product boxes on main page

Hi everyone,

It's now a month that I discover OSCMax and like it on an high level.
I try to do some modifications on the script, but I know nothing on php code. Oh, I buy two books but it doesn't help me a lot .
Maybe someone can help me.
I would like to put each products category in a box on the main page.
If that kindly person can give me a "step by step" guide, I will appreciate.

Michael : when I click on links supposing drive me to the old forum, I find a error who told me that the forum is no more available !!! Are all the old thread move to this forum ?

My ask was not complete. What I would like to do, it's set boxes below description, between colum left and right.
