price break for aabox oscmax

Hello, newbie here. Been modifying the aabox template for oscmax (oscmax2_RC3_0_1) for a while now by using this wonderful forum and everyones contributions, but i'm stuck. I haven't been able to get the price break (Quantity Price Breaks Per Product v1.2.7 jan03) to work. I followed the instructions in the install.html . I have a few questions:

1.) using the aabox template, do i just upload the 3 files mentioned in the install.html? or do i need to upload the rest of the files within the catalog folder?

2.) Can I use the Quantity Price Breaks Per Product v1.2.7 jan03 files with the version of aabox/oscmax that I have by just following the instructions in the install.html or do i need to modify code (besides the instructions in install.html)?
