Advanced options in products

Hi,
I was wondering if there is an option to get advanced options per product in oscommerce/oscmax.
For example:

1) Zenni has a sub-heading "right", and under that, are 4 options. Basically, can oscommerce/oscmax make sub-headings within the options of each product?
2) The options for the right and left eye are stacked horizontally. Is this possible with oscommerce?
3) Is it possible to put little help icons next to each sub heading?

As you can see, they have glasses colors, sizes, script etc. for every product they have. They use X-Cart commerce software, but it is rather expensive.
Is there any way to get the same advanced options in oscommerce/oscmax using an added module?
