| I've been trying to find a solution to have multiple pictures per product. Dynamic Mo Pics appears to be okay, but having the user to upload the pictures manually is like going back in time where we have to make an html page for each product. I've found several mods for OSC 2.2 anyone had an experience using OSCMAX with : Ultra Pics or Additional Images or PISS ? Uploading multiple pictures from the product maintenance screen is a basic and necessary feature. |

| There is an ultra-pics oscmax version in the Projects section. You could try that. Quote:
Dynamic mopics is a fully automated system that only requires a single mass upload of files for unlimited products, as opposed to the web interface which can only do one product at a time. If you have ever properly used dynamic mopics, you would never want to go back to the manual method. It is worth taking the time to teach the data entry staff to use ftp. The time and money saved in data entry is massive. Used in conjunction with EasyPopulate, a single data entry staff member can power through tens of thousands of products in less than a couple of hours as opposed to several days using the tedious manual method of the web interface. Image updates are equally as simple, uploading new files directly to the images directory never even having to open up a browser. On a smaller scale, you can update 100 products and add 4 images to each (4000 images added to live pages) in less than 10 minutes of work with dynamic mopics. Try doing that with ultra-pics... You incorrectly assume that using FTP is a step backwards, when in fact it is a huge simplification of the work process, and removes endless repeated steps in your browser. Dynamic Mopics is so cool because it removes the need for browser based image uploading, which for any store owner becomes the biggest time/money waster of all. I sometimes feel that this mod gets a bad rap because people are afraid of using FTP. I encourage all to get over the fear and start saving time and money (really!).
