The sort order mod that they recommended caused me problems so that is why I skipped putting their sort order mod in and did the one I posted earlier. After adding my version of the mod I installed ajax attribute manager and all worked. If it hangs up again let me know where and I will see if I can find the problem

    OK
    Got it sort working.
My blank page was caused by an extra / in one of my config lines.
Had to add an error return to my access page as Firefox Error console wasn't returning anything.
Then had to edit attributeManagerPrompts.inc.php and fix the sprint_f error. (remove the underscore from the 6 instances of sprint_f so they read sprintf.

Now the only thing left is the fact that
if I try to use the drop down navigation menu it drops me out and back to the admin login screen. Or if I try to add stock.
I assume its a permissions issue (yes I ran the SQL injection)
    Do/did you have this problem
    Suggestions?

Sorry Att knocked out my dsl for 2 days. I did not have that problem. I would have to do a fresh install to see if I could reproduce the problem. My site is heavily modified.
Maybe you could zip your files to me and when I get some time (slammed busy for a couple weeks) I will try and compare to my files to see what is diff.

    NP
Understand. I am in same boat.

    I actually did
do a fresh install. QTPro wasn't working so I redid install without AAM and it was the install as QTPro still isn't working. It has been awhile since I have setup MAX and don't recall there being any steps to setup QTPro (?) With the Wiki down I can't check.

    Hate situations such as this.
Here I have an install that works fine (shop) and then my DEV site doesn't. I do a fresh install of that and it doesn't. Urgghh.

So right now I need to get a base MAX install working
    then attempt the AAM install.

Unless anyone knows what causes AAM to kick back to login?

You may want to check out this thread. It is pretty big. I didn't have time to read it. AJAX Attribute Manager support - osCommerce Community Support Forums
Let me know what you find out about kick back to log in since I had that problem with ajax order editor. Plus that contrib messed up the regular order editor making things double.

I have already read through the support thread for AAM.
Nothing. Only thing there is about "admin access' which of course gets fixed with the admin files SQL injection.

    Like I mentioned.
I am going to get a base MAX install working correctly
and then attempt to install AAM 2.6 without the sort mod. If i can get that to work I will then insert the sort mod. If that works I will try to update to 2.7.
Now the question is, IS there anything one has to do to a MAX install in order to enable QTPro?
